How It Works...

Free Hearing Screening

A free hearing screening allows us to accurately assess your level of hearing loss so we can recommend the most effective solution for your lifestyle and needs. Using advanced diagnostic equipment, we test your hearing across multiple frequencies to build a detailed picture of where any difficulties lie. This means any hearing aid recommendation is tailored specifically to you, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Phonak Hearing Aids

As exclusive Phonak partners, we fit only the most advanced, market-leading hearing technology available. Phonak hearing aids are discreet, powerful, and built for real life, whether you're in noisy restaurants, on phone calls, or watching TV. Unlike standard NHS devices, Phonak aids offer superior sound quality, Bluetooth connectivity, and personalised programming so you hear what matters, the way you want to hear it.

Fitted Within 7 Days

Hearing loss is progressive, the longer it goes unaddressed, the worse it gets. Rather than waiting 7–10 months on an NHS list, our patients can have their hearing aids fitted and fully programmed within 7 days of their screening. Fast, professional, and completely hassle-free.

Why It's Right For You

Reconnect With the People You Love

Struggling to follow conversations, asking people to repeat themselves, or turning the TV up too loud are early warning signs. Addressing hearing loss early helps you stay connected and present in the moments that matter most.

Discreet, Powerful Technology

Modern Phonak hearing aids are virtually invisible and incredibly capable. They adapt automatically to your environment so you can move through your day with confidence, no fiddling, no frustration.

Hearing Loss Is Progressive

Don't Let It Get Worse, untreated hearing loss can accelerate cognitive decline and increase feelings of isolation. Acting now even with a free screening is the single most important step you can take for your long-term health.

At Welling Ear Clinic, your care is led by our specialist audiologists, who combine clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to improving your quality of life. FAQ's

FAQ

Is the hearing screening really free?

Yes, completely. There is no charge for your screening and no obligation to purchase anything. It's simply a chance for us to assess your hearing and give you honest, professional advice.

How long does the screening take?

Most screenings take around 15 minutes. You'll leave with a clear picture of your hearing health and a personalised recommendation.

How is this different from an NHS hearing test?

Our screening uses the same clinical-grade equipment, but you'll receive your results immediately, speak with a specialist directly, and if hearing aids are recommended, have them fitted within 7 days, not 7–10 months.

Are Phonak hearing aids suitable for all types of hearing loss?

Phonak produces a wide range of devices suitable for mild to severe hearing loss. During your screening, we'll identify exactly which solution is right for you.

Do I need a GP referral?

No referral is needed. Simply book your free screening directly through this page and we'll be in touch within minutes to confirm your appointment.

Does Composite Bonding

Hurt?

Like dental veneers, composite bonding at Mill Hill Dental should not be uncomfortable. As our team will sand down a thin layer of your enamel to apply the bonding agent, the inner parts of your tooth will be untouched, meaning you won’t even need a numbing injection!

How Much Does Composite

Bonding Cost?

Our composite bonding starts from £195-£350 for Composite (tooth-coloured mercury-free) dental restorations and for Cosmetic composite bonding on front teeth start from £350 per tooth. For our SmileFast & Avente Garde premium technology costs between £1800-£2500 and we also have interest free payment plans available.

Can Composite Bonding

Cover Gaps?

Bonding can be used to cover gaps between teeth but in a similar way to dental veneers, our team will need to assess suitability. If your gap is too large, we may suggest either orthodontic braces or dental implants.

How Long Does Composite

Bonding Last?

This will depend on your overall level of dental hygiene and other lifestyle factors, such as smoking. Similar to white fillings, bonding procedures have an average lifespan of between 3- 10 years. Our team will always ensure that these composite coverings are intact during routine check-ups, and will aim to replace them if they aren’t. Simple! However, the composite used in bonding is softer than the porcelain used in veneers, so bonded teeth are more prone to chips and cracks. Luckily, such damage is easily repaired by our expert cosmetic team at Mill Hill Dental.

Are You Suitable For Composite Bonding?

Provided that you have good overall oral hygiene and you have an ailment which is suited to bonding, then our team will happily offer you bonding as a way to either restore your teeth or enhance your smile. To find out exactly if you are suitable, fill in the form on this page and a dentist from Mill Hill Dental will get in touch to talk to you through what happens next.
